About these rebates
Heating costs make up the majority of your energy costs during the winter months, which makes replacing your old or inefficient furnace or boiler equipment one of the most impactful measures you can take to curb energy usage. There are a variety of eligibility guidelines specific to each rebate. Please review all Ohio program Terms and conditions (PDF) before purchasing equipment or applying for rebates.

Available rebates
The rebates below apply to equipment purchased and installed between Jan. 1, 2023 and Dec. 31, 2023.
- Gas furnaces

These rebates require CenterPoint Energy natural gas service as the primary heat source.
Gas furnaces Specification Rebate 95-96.99% AFUE $150 97% AFUE or higher $400 New construction homes are not eligible for 95-96.99% AFUE rebate.Homes must have CenterPoint Energy natural gas as the primary heat source to be eligible for this rebate.Furnace must be primary heat source for home's living space and be a sealed combustion unit. Systems supplementing gas space heating with an air source or geothermal heat pump are not eligible.AFUE = Annual Fuel Utilization EfficiencyRebates are available to residential homes or residential rental buildings of 12 units or less with natural gas service located in CenterPoint Energy's Ohio service territory.
