CCR Rule Compliance Data and Information
Southern Indiana Gas and Electric Company (SIGECO) has established this site for the purpose of posting documentation as required in the EPA's Coal Combustion Residuals rule at 40 CFR Parts 257.105 - 257.107. Beginning on the October 19th, 2015 effective date of the rule, documents will be placed in the operating record as required and subsequently posted to this page within 30 days, or as otherwise required per the compliance deadlines listed in the rule. SIGECO has two generating facilities that are covered by the CCR rule. Information for each site will be listed separately. Please send any inquiries to CCR_Inquiries@centerpointenergy.com.

F. B. Culley West Ash Pond Closure
The F.B. Culley West Ash Pond no longer receives coal combustion materials, and has completed closure under the requirements of the Coal Combustion Residuals rule and the Approval of Closure/Post-Closure Plan from IDEM. West Ash Pond: On July 26, 2016, EPA released the CCR Extensions Rule to address the vacature of 40 CFR § 257.100 which established expemptions for Inactive CCR Surface Impoundments. Units that had declared Inactive status by 12/17/15 under 257.100 (i)(1) must comply with amended deadlines as listed in the Extensions rule.
